Sweetcorn Fritters - Waffle Maker
Ingredients
Dry Mix
- 2 Cups Batter Dry Mix Click link for recipe
- 1 Tbsp Salt flakey
- .5 tsp Baking soda
Wet Mix
- 2 Large Eggs - Separated Hold whites back for later
- 1 Cup milk
- .5 Cup Cream
- .25 Cup Butter melted
Filling
- 1 Cup Corn kernels canned
- .5 Cup Corn creamed
- .25 Cup Chives chopped
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Mix all wet ingredients *Except Egg Whites* together.
- Add the Filling ingredients to the wet mix.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix together gently till blended.
- Beat whites to a stiff peak. Fold half the egg whites into the batter until reasonably combined. Fold the 2nd half of the whites through the mix.
- Sit for at least 20 mins before use.
